District 7 Fire Rescue was dispatched out to the area of Galm Rd and Swayback Ranch for a man who was entrapped by a trench collapse. San Antonio Fire Department was called out to assist. The patient was about fifteen feet down in the trench with dirt up to his waist. With great teamwork, the patient was rescued from the trench and airlifted to a local hospital.
