Board of Directors
Bill Davidson is President of your District 7 Fire & Rescue Board. He is an engineer with the City of San Antonio Fire Department. Our resident firefighter expert on the Board, Mr. Davidson lives in the Highway 211 area of the District. He has helped guide, along with members of the Planning Committee, your Board on the many needs of equipping our fire station as well as working with our ISO Consultant, to help lower our homeowner insurance costs. Mr. Davidson managed the Operations side of your fire department until a Fire Chief was hired.
Cindy Colston has been a Helotes area resident since 2005. She retired from UTSA in 2011, with 29 years of service in the University of Texas System. The need for quality fire and medical services in ESD 7, brought her to the Board.
Gary Schott, a rancher, is a lifelong resident of the Helotes area. He lives near the Highway 211 area. Mr. Schott has been actively involved in the 4H Club organization for many years. Like the other Board Members, Mr. Schott was also very concerned about fire protection in your area. As a result of that concern, Mr. Schott now serves as Assistant Treasurer of your Fire Department Board.
Lonnie Stockton has been a resident in Bexar County for the majority of his life and since 2000 has lived off Hwy 211 near Government Canyon. He retired from the Northside Independent School District Maintenance Dept in 2006 with 27 years of service. His primary duties were Computer Systems Manager. He volunteered for this position with the Emergency Services District 7 as a result of his concern for Fire and Rescue protection in the area.
Rick Johnson is the General Manager at M&M Metals, Inc., where he has been an employee for over 44 years. He and his wife, Patricia Johnson, also have a feed business in Helotes.
They are heavily involved with supporting the area FFA & 4H Organizations. Giving back to the community is why Rick volunteered with the ESD7 and is Assistant Treasurer.
